MISS OF NIGERIA

OFFICIAL DELEGATE TERMS & CONDITIONS AGREEMENT

This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between the Organizing Body of Miss of Nigeria (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer” or “Management”) and the undersigned applicant (hereinafter referred to as “the Delegate”).

By purchasing the Miss of Nigeria registration form, submitting an application, and/or participating in any stage of the selection, training, voting, or pageant process, the Delegate irrevocably agrees to be bound by all terms, policies, rules, decisions, and directives stated herein.

I. ELIGIBILITY, CAPACITY & REPRESENTATION

  1. The Delegate must be between seventeen (17) and twenty-eight (28) years of age at the time of registration.
  2. The Delegate affirms that she is legally competent, mentally sound, and physically fit to participate.
  3. The Delegate must satisfy all educational, residency, citizenship, or other eligibility requirements established by Management.
  4. The Delegate must embody values of integrity, discipline, intelligence, respect, cultural sensitivity, and social responsibility.
  5. The Delegate acknowledges that Miss of Nigeria is a purpose-driven platform focused on leadership, advocacy, national development, and responsible influence.

II. MORAL STANDARDS, IMAGE & PUBLIC CONDUCT

  1. The Delegate shall maintain a high moral standard both online and offline throughout the competition.
  2. Any conduct capable of bringing disrepute, scandal, ridicule, controversy, or reputational damage may result in disciplinary action.
  3. The Delegate agrees to refrain from:
  4. Social media content, interviews, appearances, and public statements must align with the image and values of Miss of Nigeria.

III. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION & DISCLOSURE

  1. All personal, educational, medical, professional, and biographical information submitted by the Delegate must be truthful, complete, and verifiable.
  2. Management reserves the right to conduct background checks, investigations, verification exercises, and reference confirmations at any stage.
  3. Any falsification, concealment, or misrepresentation before, during, or after the competition shall result in:

IV. ORGANIZATIONAL AUTHORITY & GOVERNANCE

  1. Management retains full administrative, creative, operational, and disciplinary authority over Miss of Nigeria.
  2. Decisions of the Judging Panel, once ratified by Management, shall be final, binding, and non-negotiable.
  3. The Legal Representative of the Organizing Body shall be the official interpreter of these Terms and Conditions.
  4. Delegates agree to utilize internal dispute resolution procedures before initiating any public or legal challenge concerning pageant-related matters, except where prohibited by law.

V. RISK, SAFETY & LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

  1. Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the Delegate’s own decision.
  2. The Organizer shall not be responsible for:
  3. Organizer liability applies only during official pageant activities, camps, rehearsals, events, and engagements formally organized or approved by Management.
  4. Coverage applies only to incidents directly connected to approved pageant activities and excludes personal misconduct, negligence, or unrelated circumstances.

VI. PARTICIPATION STRUCTURE & MANDATORY ACTIVITIES

  1. The Delegate agrees to participate fully in all compulsory activities, including but not limited to:
  2. Absence, lateness, failure to participate, or non-compliance without prior approval may attract penalties, deductions, suspension, or disqualification.

VII. SELECTION, REPLACEMENT & WITHDRAWAL

  1. Management reserves the right to replace, suspend, remove, or withdraw any Delegate at any stage of the competition.
  2. Delegates who voluntarily withdraw from the competition shall forfeit all fees, privileges, benefits, rankings, and opportunities attached to participation.
  3. Replacement, suspension, or withdrawal decisions made by Management shall be final.

VIII. TITLE HOLDING, COMMITMENT & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Winners and Runner-Ups shall serve as official ambassadors of Miss of Nigeria for one (1) year.
  2. The Winner shall actively promote and uphold the values, image, objectives, and national vision of Miss of Nigeria throughout her reign.
  3. The Winner shall develop, maintain, and actively execute an approved advocacy campaign and/or social impact project during her reign.
  4. Advocacy initiatives and pet projects are official responsibilities of title holders and shall not constitute part of the prize package.
  5. The Winner shall participate in official appearances, media engagements, charitable activities, educational campaigns, community outreach programs, and promotional events as directed by Management.
  6. The Winner shall represent Nigeria in any international pageant, competition, cultural exchange, leadership program, or global platform for which Miss of Nigeria secures a franchise, nomination, partnership, or representation opportunity.
  7. The Winner and all title holders shall commence and actively implement their approved advocacy or pet project within the first three (3) months of their reign.
  8. Failure to fulfill responsibilities of office may result in disciplinary action, withholding of benefits, suspension, or withdrawal of title.

IX. MANAGEMENT RIGHTS & REPRESENTATION

  1. The Brand Manager shall serve as the exclusive booking and representation authority during the reign period.
  2. Unauthorized appearances, endorsements, sponsorships, partnerships, or commercial engagements using the Miss of Nigeria title are prohibited without prior written approval from Management.
  3. Winners may be required to travel locally or internationally for official assignments, appearances, franchise obligations, media engagements, and brand representation.

X. FINANCIAL STRUCTURE & PRIZE ADMINISTRATION

  1. A thirty-five percent (35%) management and logistics fee shall apply to earnings, appearance fees, endorsement contracts, prize monies, sponsorship opportunities, and commercial engagements secured through Miss of Nigeria during the reign period.

  3. Failure to meet official responsibilities may result in delayed, suspended, reduced, or forfeited payments.

XI. OFFICIAL PRIZE PACKAGE

  1. Cash Prize (₦3,000,000)

    a. The official cash prize for the title holder of Miss of Nigeria shall be Three Million Naira (₦3,000,000).

    b. The cash prize shall be paid strictly in accordance with the disbursement structure stated in this Agreement and any subsequent Winner Contract.

    c. The prize shall not be payable as a lump-sum award unless approved by Management.

  2. Media Exposure & Publicity

    a. The Winner shall receive official publicity, media exposure, public relations support, and promotional opportunities through Miss of Nigeria and its affiliated partners.

    b. Such exposure may include interviews, press features, digital campaigns, television appearances, radio engagements, publications, and social media promotions.

  3. Official Brand Representation

    a. The Winner shall be provided opportunities to represent Miss of Nigeria at public events, conferences, cultural functions, corporate engagements, humanitarian initiatives, and official ceremonies.

    b. Such opportunities shall be determined solely by Management.

  4. Endorsements & Commercial Opportunities

    a. Endorsements, ambassadorial opportunities, and commercial engagements secured through the platform are performance-based opportunities and not guaranteed entitlements.

    b. Winners must remain compliant, professional, and available to participate in such engagements.

  5. General Prize Conditions

    a. Management reserves the right to substitute, modify, postpone, suspend, or withdraw any prize, benefit, opportunity, or engagement due to force majeure, sponsor limitations, operational considerations, or breach of this Agreement.

    b. All non-cash prizes, benefits, sponsorships, services, products, scholarships, endorsements, and opportunities may be assigned a monetary value for promotional, accounting, valuation, sponsorship, or prize-package purposes. Such valuation shall not constitute a cash entitlement and shall not obligate Management to provide the equivalent value in cash.

XII. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & MEDIA RIGHTS

  1. Miss of Nigeria retains unrestricted rights to all:
  2. Delegates waive all claims to royalties, licensing fees, or restrictions relating to the use of such materials.

XIII. JURISDICTION, CONFIDENTIALITY & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  1. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  2. Before initiating any court proceedings, the Delegate agrees to first engage in good-faith discussions and utilize the official internal dispute resolution procedures established by Management, except where prohibited by applicable law.
  3. CONFIDENTIALITY, NON-PUBLIC DISCLOSURE, INTERNAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION & BREACH REMEDIES

    The Delegate agrees that any complaint, grievance, allegation, dispute, misunderstanding, disciplinary concern, contractual disagreement, or issue arising from or relating to Miss of Nigeria, its Management, representatives, sponsors, partners, staff, title holders, delegates, or affiliated persons shall first be reported and addressed through the official internal dispute resolution mechanisms established by Management.

    The Delegate shall not, whether directly or indirectly, publicize, publish, disclose, circulate, broadcast, communicate, submit, or report such disputes to blogs, media houses, gossip platforms, social media platforms, third parties, public forums, sponsors, partners, external organizations, influencers, or any other person or entity with the intention or effect of generating public controversy, reputational harm, negative publicity, public pressure, public sympathy campaigns, or adverse public opinion against the Organization or any of its stakeholders.

    Where the internal dispute resolution process has been fully exhausted and proven unsuccessful, the Delegate reserves the right to pursue lawful remedies through the appropriate courts or other legally recognized dispute resolution channels as provided under applicable law.

    The Delegate acknowledges that Miss of Nigeria maintains a policy of professionalism, confidentiality, institutional dispute management, and reputational protection, and agrees to refrain from engaging in public call-outs, media campaigns, defamatory publications, social media attacks, unauthorized press statements, petitions intended for public circulation, or any conduct intended to litigate disputes in the court of public opinion.

    Any breach of this provision shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement and the Organization’s confidentiality obligations. The Organization reserves the right to institute legal proceedings and seek damages, injunctive relief, specific performance, recovery of losses, reputational damages, legal costs, and any other remedies available at law or in equity, in addition to any disciplinary action, suspension, disqualification, withdrawal of title, revocation of privileges, or forfeiture of benefits.

    The confidentiality, non-disclosure, non-publicity, and dispute resolution obligations contained in this Agreement shall survive the expiration, completion, termination, resignation, disqualification, withdrawal, or conclusion of the Delegate’s participation, tenure, title, reign, or relationship with Miss of Nigeria and shall remain binding thereafter to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

  4. All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts within Nigeria.
  5. Disputes shall be handled professionally, confidentially, and in accordance with applicable laws.

XIV. FINAL DECLARATION

By purchasing the Miss of Nigeria registration form and participating in any capacity, the Delegate confirms that she has:

The Delegate further acknowledges the privilege of participation in Miss of Nigeria and agrees to abide by all official policies, directives, schedules, codes of conduct, operational procedures, and administrative decisions issued by Management throughout the duration of the competition and, where applicable, during her reign.

This Agreement remains binding before, during, and after participation in Miss of Nigeria.
